Washington, August 26: The Hollywood Walk of Fame will not even consider honouring Kim Kardashian and other reality television stars, the organisation responsible for the ceremony has confirmed.

According to the New York Daily News, when the Hollywood Walk of Fame received a query about Kardashian's potential inclusion, they released a statement on Facebook saying, "Someone asked if we give reality show characters stars? Hell to the No!", reports Contactmusic.

The post has already received a number of overwhelmingly supportive comments.

The candidates for the Hollywood Walk of Fame first have to be approved by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce committee and the celebrity then has to agree to appear at the ceremony.

The celebrities are also asked to provide 30,000 dollars to fund the creation, installation and maintenance of the honour.

Ana Martinez, the Vice President of Media Relations and producer of the ceremony, explained the nomination has to have longevity in the field of entertainment, awards and philanthropic work. (ANI)
