Nokia, India's highest selling mobile phone company, is planning to launch a unique Nokia Software Updater 20.0.019 which shall come with enhanced touch screen scrolling facility and also includes Ovi maps 3.01 with 3-D maps. It shall act as a windows application that shall be useful in updating device of a user from his PC.

For new software updates, one can visit to My Nokia subscribe by means of email or SMS, and it shall enable the user to receive software notifications on a regular basis which shall be followed by typing key *#0000# into one's phone home screen or one can simply go to the Device manager. Thereafter choose Select Options and check for the recent updates.

Besides this, the user shall follow on-screen prompts coming on screen before the update is completed. This Software Updater by Nokia will not allow loading any pre-released Nokia device software & even if user shall still try to do that, one shall receive a message: "No software updates available".

Also, keep in mind to check if mobile service provider approved this updated Nokia device software. Earlier Nokia launched Nokia Diagnostics which shall help in the diagnose, troubleshoot and configure of the devices through its Network Coverage test, Internet Connectivity test, Battery Charger test and Loudspeaker, Earpiece test.
