Narendra Modi answers netizens’ questions on Google+ HangoutGujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday used Google+ Hangout, which facilitates 'group video chat' with up to ten people at a time, to answer netizens' questions.

The tech-savvy politician answered netizens' questions on a range of topics through the live video chat on Internet search giant Google's social networking platform.

Narendra Modi's live chat through Google+ Hangout attracted a huge traffic of netizens, which led to crash of the Google+ server for a few minutes.

By hosting a live chat via Google+ Hangout, Mr. Mode joined the ranks of the likes of U. S. President Barack Obama and Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, who recently used to platform to live chat with people. In India, Mr. Modi is the first politician to host a live chat through the Internet.

The hangout was anchored by popular Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan. The event was also broadcast on Google popular video-sharing platform YouTube.

Mr. Modi, who is active on micro-blogging site Twitter, will be facing assembly elections by the end of this year.
