Musk planning to build city for vegetarians in MarsElon Musk, the billionaire co-founder of PayPal and private space entrepreneur, has said that he is planning to build a small city in Mars for vegetarians.

The city for 80,000 space explorers will be a futuristic settlement on the red planet. He indicated that the new city will run on advanced technologies and will only be suitable for vegetarians.

Musk's Falcon 9 rocket currently delivers NASA cargo to the International Space Station (ISS) but is has much futuristic plans in the Space. While speaking to the Royal Aeronautical Society, he said that he had been waiting for ten years to reveal his vision to the world.

"Then it seemed ridiculous because there were no rockets, no infrastructure and NASA was the only game in town - and it had no schedule for exploring Mar. But with my work, and many others working in the private sector, the mission is coming closer to reality," he added.

He believes that a self-sustaining civilization can be developed on Marsand it can be grown to something really big. The Royal Aeronautical Society had awarded a gold medal to Musk in November for his contribution to space exploration.
