A review of Oil PSUs will be undertaken by the Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora along with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the Oil PSUs.

During the review, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dinsha Patel and Petroleum Secretary R.S. Pandey would also be there to discuss the working of the PSU, challenges & problems faced by them and many other various issues.
 
The special focus will be on the distribution policy of petroleum products in the country, and the availability of fuel stocks in the light of upcoming festival season and their preparedness to prevent oil shortages.

In the back drop of under-recoveries incurred on sensitive fuels including petrol, diesel, domestic LPG and PDS kerosene, the Financial Position of Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) will also be reviewed.
