Motorola to come up with two smartphones by the end of 2009
Motorola Inc. has announced that it would come up with two Smartphones by the end of the running year, both running on Google's Android software.
Motorola's Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Jha, said, "We will launch with two major carriers in North America, and multiple carriers outside the U. S."
Most probably Verizon and T-Mobile would be the service providers to the upcoming devices, which are expected to be equipped with touchscreens.
Motorola Inc. has also plans to launch many more Android-based low-priced phones during the first three months of the next year.
However, Motorola Inc's inexpensive devices could take a bite from its revenues.
Moreover, monthly data plan affects customers more than device's initial price.
