Motherson Sumi Q4 cons net profit up at Rs 76.9 crore
Motherson Sumi, a leading auto manufacturer has declared its Q4 and Financial Year 2009 results.
During the quarter ended March 31, 2009, the company has clocked a jump of 19.47% per cent in its consolidated net profit which stood at Rs 76.90 crore.
In the same quarter of previous year, company's consolidates net profit figure stood at Rs 64.37 crore.
During the reporting quarter, company's total consolidated income also surged by 41.09% to Rs 843.25 crore from Rs 597.65 crore in the corresponding month last fiscal.
During the financial year 2008-09, the company's consolidated net profit, however, marginally came down to Rs 176.25 crore from Rs 177.86 crore in the previous year.
Company's total consolidated income during the latest fiscal has witnessed a growth by 28.66 per cent to Rs 2,639.74 crore from Rs 2,051.75 crore in Financial Year 2008.
Further, company's board has recommended a dividend of Rs 1.35 per share for 2008-09 fiscal.
