‘Monsters vs. Aliens’ helps ‘gigantic dork’ Witherspoon turn ‘cool’ in kids’ eyes!
Washington, Mar 24 : Ever since Reese Witherspoon has voiced a character in animated movie `Monsters vs. Aliens', she has got a "cool" status in the eyes of her kids, who no longer think of her as a "gigantic dork."
Although the `Walk The Line' star has won critical accolade and an Oscar for her previous work, she hasn't really impressed her kids, Ava and Deacon.
But after she lent her voice to a giant woman in the family film, she has suddenly become "cool" at home.
"They are rabid, and they wake up in the morning, like, ''When can we see this movie? When is this movie going to come out?'' My daughter goes, ''Just how many people can I bring to the screening? I invited the entire third grade!''" Contactmusic quoted Witherspoon as saying.
And the actress has confessed that she loves the attention the film has brought her.
"I''m really enjoying this moment because usually my kids think I am a gigantic dork, and they are so in love with me right now. It''s great," she said. (ANI)
