Moderate earthquake rattles Greece, no injuries
Athens - A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shook central Greece on Saturday, but there were no immediate reports of injury, officials said.
The earthquake, which took place at 10:27am (0827 GMT), had an epicenter 10 kilometers south-east of the city of Lamia, located in central Greece, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said.
Residents as far away as Athens felt the quake, which lasted for several seconds. Minor damage was reported in the area of Amfikleas, near Lamia. (dpa)
