In order to ease customer buying process, and to cater shopping at their door steps, Essar Group’s mobile retail chain MobileStore has made announcement about the launching of its online portal www.themobilestore.in, in India.        

During the initial phase, the new service would serve up 11 cities across the country including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Cochin, Ahemadabad, and Pune.

The online store let users across all these cities to place orders online to buy cellular phones, accessories, and music and gaming devices.

The company would eventually extend the service to other locations across India.

The website will host different features such as blog, reviews, search a handset with select features, registration, news and also latest offers available at The MobileStore.

Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, CEO of MobileStore's said, “MobileStore would enable its customers to purchase the latest mobile segment without stepping out of their residence or office. Currently, online sale is operational in Mumbai.”

“Our supply chain and backend logistics that are deployed for the stores will help us to ensure that we can offer the best range to customers at optimum shipping times. Related products are also shown to the customer during his purchase so that he can accessorize his phone,” Mr. Agarwal added.

Besides, the company’s new site also offers up a combination of click and mortar.

The MobileStore has decided to launch 2,500 stores in 600 Indian cities by the next two years. Presently, there are about 600 such stores across the country.
