Washington, Aug 7 : King of pop Michael Jackson might have accidentally killed himself with deadly anaesthetic demerol, it has emerged.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the `Thriller' hitmaker apparently woke alone in his bedroom and couldn''t find his personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray.

In a bid to get back to sleep, the troubled singer might have injected himself with a deadly shot of Demerol.

"Michael may have awakened from his induced sleep sometime in the middle of the night - and with no one around to help him - injected himself with a deadly shot of Demerol," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling the show.

However, the show''s investigative reporter Diane Dimond said, "Once the toxicology report is released we''ll finally have answers." (ANI)
