Mishra departs after adding valuable runs
Amit Mishra batted well with VVS Laxman early in the morning on Day 3 to take India's lead forward against South Africa. Starting the morning at 342 for five, India reached 384 runs before Mishra was caught by Jacques Kallis on the bowling of Morne Morkel. Amit Mishra scored 28 valuable runs in 38 balls.
Laxman is batting on 21 runs. Skipper MS Dhoni is the new man in and it is now on these two batsmen to take the Indian lead forward.
South Africa scored 296 runs in the first innings.
