Mideast envoy Tony Blair meets Norwegian foreign minister
Oslo - Former British prime minister Tony Blair on Friday said a two-state solution was the only means of solving the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
After talks with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Blair said he still hoped that it would be able to clinch a peace agreement, Norwegian news agency NTB reported.
The former British prime minister is currently the Middle East representative of the Mideast Quartet that consists of the United States, the European Union, Russia and the United Nations.
Store said he and Blair had discussed experiences of visits to the Middle East and the agenda for an upcoming donor meeting for the Palestinians.
Oslo is current chair of the Ad-Hoc Liaison Committee (AHLC) of donors to the Palestinians. (dpa)
