Microsoft to launch Office 2010 in June
The global technology player Microsoft Corp. is rolling up its sleeves to launch a new version of MS Office in India. As the news goes, the company will introduce MS Office 2010 for its Indian users, by the month of June, 2010.
The interesting fact is that this latest version of Office will have web applications embedded. This means it will have online version of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and OneNot. The new version will also facilitate the sharing and collaboration of all such documents and files online.
Ravi Venkatesan, Chairman of Microsoft Corp. India told the media that by June 2010, this new Office 2010 will be ready to be used for both the business as well as the personal users.
A soft launch of the beta version of MS Office 2010 has already been made by the company, in the country, in the month of November in 2009.
In the beginning of this month, the technology giant has also launched Windows Azure which falls in the category of cloud computing. Windows Azure can help various companies cut down their total IT costs by as much as 50% of margin. It does so by facilitating sharing of software and storage facilities.
