One of the oldest programming languages in the software development, COBOL is going to be restructured by a firm from Bangalore. The Common Business-Oriented Language or COBOL has just lost its way after the entrance of some other languages to the market.

Current developers prefer to work in latest languages because of their user friendly options and enhanced tools. Somehow COBOL is still used to perform explicit tasks like order processing and HR management activities.

Now Bangalore based company, Micro focus is looking forward to represent COBOL is different platform. The company wants to integrate the language with some recent languages like Java to create applications and tools.

Product management director of Micro Focus, Mark Warren has informed that COBOL is syntax portable. It will be flexible and rigid when needed. The numerical ability of COBOL along with multi-decimal accuracy is expected to be utilized in various finance related applications. He has also said that his company is committed to develop COBOL that can satisfy the recent demands of the market.
