Michelle Obama’s first duty is helping her family settle into White House
Washington, Jan 24 : Michelle Obama is spending the first few days as First Lady in helping her family settle into the White House.
While President Barack Obama started off on his official duties, Michelle has been busy unpacking boxes and making the children, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, feel comfortable in their new home at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
"It''s all about the little girls," Fox News quoted a White House official as saying.
"The majority of what she''s been doing is getting the kids up and running," the official added.
The First Lady, however, did have time to hold an open house in the Blue Room of the White House on January 21, where she greeted Americans alongside the president.
