Maoists call off strike after six daysMaoists have called off the strike in Nepal after six days. As per the Mao leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the normal people are facing lot difficulties due to ongoing strike. So the party has decided to protest the Government in some other way soon.  

The Maoists are trying to bring the country in a virtual standstill mode so that they can force the government to resign. Mr. Dahal has also informed that they have decided to end their strike keeping the general people’s problem in mind. The schools, transports and all business have been closed and the common people have to deal with such difficulties. Even it is affecting the tourists as well.

Thousands of Maoists were on the roads since Sunday to protest against the government and the Prime Minister and the tear gas has been used to evacuate people from the streets.

The Mao leader has confirmed that the protest is not yet over and this time the form of protest is going to be different. The head of Nepal’s Commerce Department, Kush Kumar Joshi has said that the protest is harming Nepal’s economy and should be ended by discussion soon.
