Maoist displeased with UML leaders

NepalKathmandu, Jan 5 : Maoists leaders have come down hard against their coalition partner Unified Marxist Leninist (UML).

During the Maoists central secretariat meeting on Sunday, Maoist leaders said that the UML was acting like an opposition party.

Senior Maoist leader CP Gajurel said, "Some UML leaders are busy criticizing the government as if they are in the opposition."

According to him, the party has decided to discuss the matter with the UML leaders in the next high-level political committee meeting.

He also informed that Maoists have decided to announce their unification with Unity Centre (Masal) on January 13.

He informed that a meeting of the party''s central committee slated for January 11 will discuss matters related to new structure of the central committee of the unified party.

"The name of the party will be adjusted after the unification. Although the name CPN (Maoist) will not change, we will add some prefix to imply the unity," he added, Nepalnews reported. (ANI)
