Los Angeles, Jan 12 - Musician Marilyn Manson has threatened to sue actress Seraphim Ward for spreading fake rumours about their engagement.

Ward had posted a picture of a ring on Twitter page last year in April and had written: "I am still speechless and in shock!" and her representative had even confirmed the news.

Manson had played down the reports then and has now involved his lawyers in the matter.

In a letter to Ward, the musician's legal team insists he has had "no romantic or other association" with Ward, reports tmz. com.

His attorneys go on to warn Ward she will face legal action if she continues to talk publicly about the relationship. (IANS)
