Malala Yousafzai appeals for release of Nigerian girls at Abuja conference
London, July 15 : Malala Yousagfzai, young Pakistani girl who just turned 17, appealed for the release of the twelve Nigerian girls who were kidnapped three months ago by militant group Boko Haram.
The conference took place in an international hotel in the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja where the parents of the girls, Malala and her father were present.
Malala went on to say that she regarded these girls as her sisters and would stand by them.
She explained the incident whereby she was shot in the head by a Taliban hitman two years ago.
The parents of the girls broke down while listening to the words of the young 17-year-old Pakistani girl.
Malala's father concluded the conference by saying a prayer, reports the BBC. (ANI)
