Makeup for the beach should be as simple as possible
Munich - Women heading out to the beach should choose makeup that is as discreet and natural as possible.
Makeup artist Boris Entrup said a look that is open and fresh is ideal on the beach. Rouge, eye-shadow and lipstick in light colours are the best options, he said. Foundation should including UV protection and should also be free of artificial ingredients.
Waterproof mascara is also best, but even special products such as this can run when they get wet. Generally, it's better to put on less makeup before going to the beach, said Entrup, adding that a natural look is best. (dpa)
