Lure of money is a major distraction for England cricketers: Nasser Hussain
London, Nov. 25 : Former England cricket captain Nasser Hussain is of the view that the current crop of players are being distracted off the field by the lure of money, and that is having a telling impact on their performances on the field.
Hussain believes the players are being sidetracked by the lure of the Stanford 20-20 series and Indian Premier League.
“In the past few months there has been too much distraction off the field about money. There is a 20-20 World Cup coming up and 2009 is an Ashes year and that is what the focus has to be on,” The Sun quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
