London minicab driver denies being the "Night Stalker"
Court documents have shown that a former London minicab driver denied being the "Night Stalker" and pleaded not guilty to a string of sex attacks on elderly women.
Sky News reported on Monday that appearing at the Old Bailey, Delroy Grant, 52, pleaded not guilty to three charges of rape, one attempted rape, seven indecent assaults, 16 burglaries and two attempted burglaries involving 18 victims.
Grant is charged with breaking into the homes of elderly victims between 1992 and 2009.
Sky News has said that during the 25-minute hearing, Grant said he was a full-time caregiver for his estranged wife, who suffers from multiple sclerosis.
It has also been reported that he was arrested Nov. 15, 2009, during what Scotland Yard named Operation Minstead. His trial is scheduled for March 1, 2011, at Woolwich Crown Court. (With Inputs from Agencies)
