Consumer durable maker, LG Electronics has made some managerial changes. YY Verma has been raised to act as the COO of LG India.

Mr. Verma has played an important role in taking the company to its current high position. Now he will be responsible for the company’s operations in India and spearhead sales and marketing functions of LGEIL.

Some more fluctuations have been done in Marketing and sales. V Ramachandran, who was previously the director (marketing), will now head the strategy division of the company.

Amitabh Tiwari is now made the sales head of LG Electronics, and his former profile of business head of the company’s home entertainment division will be taken over by Rohit Pandit.

Sudhin Mathur is now positioned as business head of mobile communication.

“With these new changes in the top management, we aim to increase our operating efficiency and establish greater autonomy at the operating level and strengthening the independence of LG India as a subsidiary to LG Electronics”, Moon B Shin, managing director, LG Electronics India said in a statement.

The shuffling done by the company is for making LG an achievement-oriented organization.
