With the aim to target Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in the nation, Lenovo today unveiled its new SL series laptops at a press event held in Mumbai.

This new series of SL have three notebooks including ThinkPad SL 300, ThinkPad SL 400 and ThinkPad SL 500. There is an exclusive feature of 14.1-inch WXGA display in SL 400, and on the other hand the SL500 supported 15.4-inch WXGA display.

These laptops also have stylish looks other than having high functionality.  The laptops have black and glamorous exteriors. The latest technology of Centrino 2 processor has been imbibed in these latest laptops. To enhance your multi-media experience, these laptops have been integrated with optional Blu-Ray DVD player.

There are yet more exciting features of these new notebooks, which include connectivity options like WiFi, Ethernet and optional Bluetooth technologies and Lenovo’s Active Protection System, which is an air-bag like system protecting the hard drive against drops or falls.

You can also avail an additional feature of fingerprint reader to protect the notebook from unauthorized users.

The ThinkPad SL400 and SL500 could be availed from all Lenovo authorized dealers. The price has been fixed for Rs. 47,000. The price of SL300 notebook, which is supposed to hit the market by next month, is not decided as yet.
