Kylie Minogue Ready To Make Debut In Bollywood

Kylie Minogue Ready To Make Debut In BollywoodAustralian pop star Kylie Minogue is ready to lend her voice to the beats of ace music director, AR Rahman for the Bollywood multi-starrer ‘Blue’.

The singer will come to India by January 2009 together with her group to record the song.

It is also learnt that Kylie was not the first choice for the song.

Earlier, Rahman had approached Madonna and Rihanna for the same.

Madonna couldn’t accept the offer as she was passing through a bad phase personally, and Rihanna demanded a sum that was unaffordable, so finally Minogue was approached.

And if reports are to be trusted, Kylie is charging a whopping USD 1 million (Rs 5 crores) for it.

Blue, touted as one of the most expensive flicks to be ever made in India, boasts of an impressive ensemble of Bollywood Biggies including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif.

The production cost of Blue is already crossing around Rs 130 crore - without the expense they are incurring for Kylie’s song.

Besides Kylie, other westren stars such as Snoop Dogg, Tata Young have also sung for B'wood films in the past.
