The producer of memory products – Kingston Technology Company has launched its latest bundle kit with the popular SSDNow M Series solid-state drives with the storage capacities of 80GB and 160GB in the Indian market.

The latest bundle kit from the Fountain Valley, California based Kingston is based on the Intel X-25M SATA SSDs. According to Kingston, the bundle kit combines the solid-state drives (SSD) with the software tools necessary to clone the contents of hard-disk drive to the SSD and hardware installation.  The Acronis True Image hard drive cloning software facilitates cloning the contents of hard-disk drive to the SSD, and the CD installation guide helps in installing hardware.

The kit comes with USB 2.5? enclosure with USB cable for notebook computers. It features a 2.5? to 3.5? drive bay mounting brackets and screws along with SATA data and power cable extenders for the desktop computers. The 2.5-inch Kingston SSDNow M Series offers 250MB/sec. reading and 70MB/sec. writing speeds. It provides an interface of SATA 1.5Gb/sec. and 3.0Gb/sec.

The 80GB 2.5” SATA SSD w/Bundle is available for Rs. 32,999, with a three-year warranty, and the 160GB 2.5-inch SATA SSD w/Bundle is available for Rs. 63,999. Additionally, the 80 GB and 60 GB 2.5-inch SATA SSDs (stand alone) are available for Rs. 32,249 and Rs. 63,449 respectively.
