Melbourne, Sep 15: Dumped Australian opening batsman Simon Katich doubts that changes to the Cricket Australia (CA) selection panel following the recommendations made by the `Argus Review' will alter his situation.

Katich was dropped from the list of CA's contracted players earlier this year despite being one of the team's most consistent performers.

"Who is in charge is I don't think not going to make too much difference to my situation," Fox Sports quoted Katich, as saying.

"I haven't read too much into that to be honest because I've got to go out there and perform this season for NSW and that's all my focus is at this point in time," he added. (ANI)
