Jyoti Bags New Orders, Shares Zoom 5,22%Jyoti Ltd announced that its Pumps and Projects section had pocketed deals aggregating to Rs 102.50 crore from various power project crosswise the country.

The deal worth Rs 53 crore was from Bhavnagar Energy Corporation Ltd. The order consists of execution of electro-mechanical and instrumentation work for Sea Water Intake, CW and Outfall system for (2x250MW) Lignite based TPP.

The company bagged another deal valued at Rs 38 crore for similar works from Neyveli Lignite Corporation.

Jyoti pocketed another deal for Rs 11.50 crore from Indiabulls Power for their Sinnar TPP at Nashik.

The company's shares surged after it bagged the deals.

At 11:22 a. m., the shares of the company zoomed 5.22% to rule at Rs 69.50 at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The share price hit an intra-day peak of Rs 69.95 and an intra-day low of Rs 67.10.

The overall volume of shares traded at the Bombay Stock Exchange was 1,177.

In the previous trading session, the company's shares dropped 1.27% at Rs 66.05.
