London, October 26 : Jennifer Hudson is mourning the loss of her mother and brother, who were found shot dead at their Chicago residence.

According to officials, the double murder stems from domestic abuse and William Balfour, Hudson’s brother-in-law and the prime suspect behind the double murder and kidnapping, has been taken into custody.

The investigators are yet to find the musician’s seven-year-old nephew,

Julian King, who was believed to have been abducted from Hudson’s residence after the murders.

The 27-year-old, who bagged the runner-up title on ‘American Idol’ and later won an Oscar for her supporting performance in ‘Dreamgirls’, used to make regular trips to her mother’s home.

"The family were real friendly people who enjoyed being together. This is going to be devastating for them," the Telegraph quoted Ethel Grisom, a friend of the family, as saying. (ANI)
