Japan not elated with 3D concept

Japan not elated with 3D conceptAccording to a recent poll Japanese are not happy with the 3D technology that's booming in their country.

Close to 67 per cent of Japanese consumers said that they are not ready for the makeover and purchase 3D-enabled products, whether it is for TV, films or gaming.

The reason behind the same is believed to be the 3D glasses that come along with the technology.

More than 70 per cent of respondents stated that they were unlikely to wear glasses to enjoy games at home.

This report apparently is a shock for all who view Japan to be the hub for global brands making 3D consumer electronic products, including Panasonic and Sony Corporation.

The advent of 3D technology is the next leap in the global consumer electronic market.
