iTunes launches iPad update

Apple-ipadApple Inc. has released the latest updates for iTunes 9.1.0 for the customers of Mac and Windows. The update of iTunes enables in extending support to iPad and also some Genius mixes features.

This update of Apple occupies a space of 102.1MB for Mac OS X and 108.52MB for Windows and can be made available for the upcoming tablet, which is posed to be released on April 3.

Also the release of new iTunes 9.1.0 gives ring of thoughts for jail broken iPhone and iPod Touch owners. It comes from the iPhone hacking team iPhone Dev's leader, MuscleNerd who informed about the release in his twitter post. This implies that ones who will use the Blackra1n tool to jailbreak the iPhone OS based devices won't be able to associate the device with iTunes 9.1.0 version.

However the lists of features do not end here, as the new update brings in eBooks management in the iTunes library. It allows one to organize and sync the downloaded books from iBookstore, manage Genius Mixes and of course host the iPad features.

As the site claims, the update will be compatible for systems with Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher version and Windows 7, Vista as well as XP with SP2 (Service Pack 2).
