Israeli police roadblocks cause traffic jams amid terrorism alert
Tel Aviv - Israeli police set up roadblocks in central Israel Tuesday after receiving intelligence information that a suspected suicide bomber was planning to carry out an attack in Tel Aviv.
Israel Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the police raised its alert by one level and sent forces to patrol the area.
He said the details of the intelligence information were under censorship.
The roadblocks caused traffic jams on major highways leading to and from Tel Aviv. (dpa)
