Inzamam criticizes PCB for its ‘unprofessional behaviour’
Lahore, Apr. 11 : Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has criticised the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) attitude towards the ICL players terming its decision to drop the three rebel players after initially selecting them for Twenty20 World Championship as `unprofessional behaviour'.
"One day they announced the list, and the next day they reversed it. This is the result of unprofessional thinking by the board and the selectors," The Daily Times quoted Haq, as saying.
He said the PCB doesn't have the authority to select the players without getting clearance from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Haq, who is the captain of the ICL Lahore Badshah team, also charged the ICC for its highhandedness regarding the unofficial cricket tournament issues.
"The ICC is just scared that the money they generate from the game should not go to others. It is just worried that its sponsorship money would splinter due to these leagues," he said. (ANI)
