Chip maker, Intel has recruited several science-fiction authors as part of "The Tomorrow Project" for to crafting imaginative short stories.

The project has been designed to engage in "ongoing discussions with superstars, science fiction authors and scientists to get their visions for the world that's coming and the world they'd like to build," according to the company.

The company has combined anthology with works of science-fiction authors Douglas Rushkoff, Ray Hammond, Scarlett Thomas and Markus Heitz. The company is offering the Tomorrow Project anthology for free.

Brian David Johnson, an Intel-futurist said, "What science fiction does is give us a way to think about the implications of the technologies that we're building, for the people who will actually be using them."
