Infosys Q2 net up 7.54% at Rs 1,540 crore; declares 200% dividendInfosys Technologies, leading India based software services provider, has clocked decent growth of 7.54% in consolidated net profit after tax which stood at Rs 1,540 crore during the three month period ended on September 30, 2009.

In the second quarter year ago, company's net profit figure stood at Rs 1,432 crore.

As per official sources, total income of the company witnessed a growth of 6% which stood at Rs 5,821 crore during the end of the September quarter of the latest year.

Further company's board members have announced an interim dividend of 200% at the rate of Rs 10 per share.

The company added 35 new clients during the quarter.

For the half fiscal ended September 30, company's net profit surged by over 12% to Rs 3,067 crore.

The stock price was lower during the trading session. The company posted results as per market expectations. The future guidance is positive, so the stock is looking good for long term investment.
