Infosys likely to post higher revenue report
The Indian Technology major Infosys is expected to report a higher sequential growth in revenue and net profit in the current fiscal as compared to the previous quarters.
Experts believe that despite impact of adverse cross currency movements in the March 2010 quarter, the company can manage to register an ample amount of profit. Infosys will declare its fourth quarter results on coming Tuesday and industry is eagerly waiting the reports.
As per market analysts, the company is estimated to report Rs 5,928.7 crore in revenue. That means the sequential growth of the company will be at 3.3%. Moreover, it will be marginally greater than the 2.8% rise seen in the previous quarter.
Apart from that, net profit of the company is expected to be Rs 1,633.4 crore. Analysts expect that there will be a growth of 4-6% in business volumes measured in terms of quarterly billable man-hours.
Currency impact may force the company's operating margin to down by 30-50 basis points, where as the market anticipates for an impressive 11-16% revenue growth for the company in the current quarter despite all currency issues.
