Infant clothing by Kiwi Industries recalled

Infant clothing by Kiwi Industries recalledAccording to the reports, the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of Kiwi Industries infant apparel due to a choking hazard.

About 450 onesies and rompers were sold nationwide from March 2010 through May 2010 for about $26 each. They were manufactured by Holtrop & McIndoo LLC, doing business as Kiwi Industries of Albuquerque, N. M.

The commission further said that snaps on the infant garments can detach, posing a choking risk.

The onesies and rompers were sold in eight colors and prints in sizes zero through 3 months up to 12 to 18 months.

It has further been reported that consumers were advised to stop using the recalled clothing and contact Kiwi Industries for an exchange. (With Inputs from Agencies)
