‘India also a spamming site’

SpamYes, that's true! Apart from being credited for being the second largest populated country, India has been called a 'spamming site', in a recent review of online spam.

This statement was made by Panda security, a name in anti-virus industry that says India has become the second largest hub for spam generation.

It comes straight from the preventive technologies system, which lists out the order as Brazil, India, Korea, Vietnam and US. These countries, the company says, are responsible for sending out the maximum number of spam during the first two months of the year 2010.

To be precise, the cities in order are Hanoi, New Delhi, Bogota, Sao Paulo and Mumbai.

Spam, which is a trade to circulate malware or to advertise all products, runs on user basis if one trusts and opens it. The purpose of advertisement is served and gives it enough reasons to continue with the business.

It was analyzed at the PandaLabs that spam originates from a million computers, which belong to a zombie computer belonging to botnet.

This is performed by the cyber-villains who have thousands of computers at their disposal and perform the task for them.
