In his recent hit ‘Dostana’, Bollywood hunk John Abraham reveals his well-toned body on the lively beaches of Miami, and when the camera makes a sweeping movement over him, lots of men and women swoon.

And, now the world’s sexiest Asian man for 2008 says that he never shies away from discussing about his ‘hot bod’. But at times, it gets a little haughty for him.

John said, “I’m never ashamed of talking about my body. Though at times I do feel like a meat shop.”

“I wonder how audiences will react to my physicality in my next release Aashayein (directed by Nagesh Kukunoor) where I’ve lost 30 pounds,” he added.

John admits that he’s very fond of his family.

He’s just back after shooting in Philadelphia for Kabir Khan’s upcoming movie ‘New York’ (with Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh) and was quite homesick.

So he brought his loving parents over and had a superb time with them.

“My parents were over, but I wouldn’t let my mom cook here. I pampered her, looked after her like a little baby. That’s what one is supposed to do with one’s parents, specially when they get old, no?  I think I’ll take them to Boston too. Dad is an architect; so he loves to check out the buildings and architecture,” he says.

John says that he performs much better when he not in a good mental state.

“I feel I’m also good with emotions. In fact, I perform the best when I’m unhappy. I function best when in angst,” he said.

According to reports, John cut down his fee for a film.

“I work on a shoestring fee. So, no one asked me to cut it further. But I think the global meltdown has brought certain actors back to their deserving fees.”

I can understand if Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar charge the earth for a fee… they deserve it. But there were so many undeserving ones who were charging more or less the same fee. I haven’t increased my fee even after ‘Dostana’ clicked. It doesn’t matter,” John says.
