Ace Bollywood actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt is ready with her next directorial venture ‘Kajra Re’ said that she was open to acting offers.

Pooja feels that she would be a much better performer since she has experience of being behind the camera.

Pooja, who is in Panaji regarding the South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) said, “Producers feel that since I have taken up filmmaking as an alternate profession, I have given up acting. But, it is not so. I am still open to good offers. But, I will not like to direct myself in my own film.”

“Zakhm”, which is one of her last movie as an actress was shown at the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) in Goa on Saturday.

Presently she is busy in her upcoming flick ‘Kajra re’ with Himesh Reshamiya and a Pakistani actor.

‘Kajra Re’ is the story of an Indian rock star, who meets a Pakistani actress from a redlight area in Dubai. Himesh plays the role of the rock star, and his character has just experienced a disaster where he has to sacrifice his individuality and start life all over again.

Pooja is full of praise for her lead actor.

Bhatt said, “Himesh Reshamiya in the role of a rock star looks unbelievable. His transition from a playback singer-music composer to an actor has been smooth.”

“The film primarily dwells on the theme that where there is love, there is no fear,” she added.
