Hurt Locker producer to take action against illegal file-sharersVoltage Pictures, the production company of the Oscar winner movie 'Hurt Locker', has filed lawsuits against the illegal file sharers of the film in the US.

At least 5000 net connections have been identified by the Internet Service Providers (ISP), which had been involved in sharing the film over internet via peer to peer networks. The company Voltage Pictures now wants the list of the names of the owners from the ISPs to take legal action.

The company has said that piracy is directly affecting the income of film industry and should be taken as a serious allegation. Piracy is directly hurting the hard working people who want to help their family through a career in the entertainment industry. Now-a-days, new technologies are making it easier to do the piracy so general people should aware of that because it can destroy the film industry and the people working with it.

One of the original founders of the file sharing site 'The Pirate Bay', Mr. Peter Sunde Kolmisoppi has said that he was not happy with this action. He also added that file sharing technology is helping to increase the interest of the value of movies, TV serials and music etc. However, it should not be used for a wrong purpose.
