Hundreds of men took part in competition for best facial hair in nation

A number of people took part in a competition in which it has to be decided that who has the best facial hair in the nation. The event that took place on Saturday night took place in the Kings Theatre stage in Brooklyn, New York.

It is said that there were around 300 men who took part in different categories of the competition like Musketeer (a mustache of the long and slender variety and small, pointed beard) and then there were other categories as well like Amish beard (a clean shaven upper lip, combined with an unshaven area that stretches from the chin to the temple). There were freestyle groups as well.

Scott Metts from Orlando, Florida, was chosen to be the winner for 2015 Just for Men National Beard & Moustache Champion. All the contestants have put in their best to take part in the competition having categories like the Dali Mustache and the Full Beard Freestyle.

It takes a lot to maintain moustache and beard, shared one of the participants whose name was Adam Gazda, 31, of Delaware. Sharing his secrete of heaving-waxed full beard, Gazda said that it takes a lot of patients, wax and hair-drying.

Gandhi Jones, 42, of Seattle, who has won the first place Dali mustache category, said that his secret is to shave on regular basis and the next important thing is to do it correctly.
