Household cleaners can double the chances of breast cancerWomen who excessively use the cleaning products could be more prone to develop breast cancer, as per the recent US based study.

The boffins at the American Silent Spring Institute surveyed more than 1,500 women and found that housewives who continuously try and keep their bathroom, windows and homes smelling fresh, have higher chances of developing breast cancer.

"Women on the other hand who reported the highest combined cleaning product use had a doubled risk of breast cancer compared to those with the lowest reported use," the Sun reported coming straight from institute's Julia Brody.

She further adds that usage of air fresheners and products against moulds and mildew controls are linked with increased risk of having the harmful ailment.

Meanwhile experts claim the knowledge on this field has lot to be investigated upon.
