In order to augment its presence in the NCR zone, Hindustan Times has announced the launch of an all new paper for Gurgaon. The paper priced at Rs 3 will be available on newsstands from 12th July'10 under the brand name of Gurgaon First.

The distinction of this newspaper will be its special focus on Gurgaon news along with a special supplement for the local readers in the city.

Although the newspaper will have common sections that will be same to the Delhi edition, the city section will feature only Gurgaon related news. Interestingly the first page of the newspaper will carry news and stories happening in the city.

As Shantanu Bhanja, Vice President - Marketing, HT commented at the launch announcement of the newspaper about the massive survey conducted by the media giant among the local residents in the city.

The Gurgaon edition of the newspaper will also contain exclusive columns, features and user-generated content that will be relevant in addressing the issues related to the city.
