Hilfenhaus, White to play for Australia in Adelaide ODI
Adelaide, Jan. 25 : Pace bowler Ben Hilfenhaus and leg-spinning all-rounder Cameron White will play for Australia in the fourth one-day match against South Africa at the Adelaide Oval on Monday.
According to Fox Sports, they will replace Nathan Bracken and Nathan Hauritz.
Bracken withdrew from the squad with a calf problem, while Hauritz was excluded after being subjected to some heavy punishment during the match at the SCG on Friday night.
Hauritz is set to be 12th man while Bracken''s replacement, Ryan Harris, will sit out the match after arriving in town at lunchtime on Sunday and missing the team''s main training session due to unhelpful flight schedules.
Australia captain Ricky Ponting said the hosts were desperate to win and keep the five-match series alive, but a South Africa win could wrap up the series for the Proteas.
"To lose a game is a blow, any game you lose is disappointing as a team,'''' he said.
"We pride ourselves on our performances and being able to, no matter who we are playing against or in what conditions or with what team, the Australia cricket team want to try to improve and win every game we play.
"Right through this summer we just haven''t been as consistent with our performances as we''d have liked or I''m sure a lot of other players would''ve liked either.
"In all three of these games we''ve been in very strong positions and an over or a wicket here or there have been the difference to the result.''''(ANI)
