Heat wave kills three in Japan
Tokyo - Three people died Saturday in Japan due to extreme temperatures, media reports said.
In western Nagoya city, a 64-year-old man died of heatstroke while jogging in the heat that rose to 38.4 degrees Celsius.
An 80-year-old man died in Nara prefecture while working on a farm. A 79-year-old woman in Nagoya also died at her home due to heat.
Some western cities recorded 39 degrees during the day. (dpa)
