HCL Infosystems’ Q4 Net Zooms 21%, Declares Dividend
New Delhi: HCL Infosystems has declared results for fourth quarter that ended on June 30, 2007. It recorded about 13 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for the year ended June 2007, which stood at Rs 315.95 crore.
The company has also announced that it has pocketed Rs 500-crore deal from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. HCL’s consolidated gross sales in the same period was also up at Rs 11,855.43 crore as against Rs 11,454.97 crore in the corresponding period of the last year.
For the quarter ended June 2007, the consolidated net profit ascended about 21.2 per cent to Rs 84.9 crore a against Rs 70.03 crore in the year-ago period.
But, the company’s gross sales for the same period slumped 1.3 per cent to Rs 3,108.31 crore from Rs 3,149.69 crore notched in the quarter ended June 2006.
The company’s board has also sanctioned a final dividend of 100 per cent per fully paid up share. HCL has declared a total dividend of 400 per cent for the year 2006-07.
In the meantime, the agreement clinched from BSNL involves a systems integration project for convergent billing and customer relationship management for the telecom giant, implicating the execution of several technologies in computing and communication despite establishing two latest data centres in Kolkata and Hyderabad.
