Gurpatwant Singh Pannu is Alive: Multiple Reports
Sikhs for Justice founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has confirmed to Aditya Raj Kaul Executive Editor TV9 Network from Executive Editor TV9 Network that he is alive and healthy. On Wednesday, many users on social media shared reporting claiming that SFJ founder Pannu died in a car accident in California. A tweet by Aditya Raj Kaul has informed that he received a message from Pannu informing that the reports are fake. Pannu informed that there was no accident and he is completely safe.
Another confirmation came from Canada-based Parvasi Media in a video post on Facebook claiming that the reports are fake. Parvasi Media, a news portal dedicated to South Asian news affairs based in Canada, released a video informing that the reports of Pannu’s death are fake.
Kaul was directly contacted by Pannu, as per his social media account. The tweet posted by Kaul informed, “Received early morning message from Khalistani designated SFJ terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun confirming that he is alive and in New York. And issuing a fresh threat to Indian diplomats in Canada, USA, Australia and UK. End of rumours and speculation on his death for now.”
In the recent months, many Khalistan supporters have died under mysterious circumstances, fueling talks among people that there could be a covert campaign to silence some of the leaders.

I kindly urge everyone to refrain from spreading this misinformation.”
Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in Vancouver, Canada on June 19. Khalistan Liberation Force's Avtar Singh Khanda died in Birmingham, UK on June 15 this year. However, Khanda’s death raised several questions. He was suffering from blood cancer but reports claimed that he was poisoned. None of the reports were confirmed.
