Gunman kills two in France before surrendering to police - UpdateParis - A gunman shot two people to death and gravely injured a third in the streets of the northern French town of Douchy- les-Mines, France Info radio reported Monday. The 65-year-old gunman fled into his flat after the shootings, but surrendered to police several hours later. Earlier reports spoke of three people killed.

No reasons were given for the shootings. France 2 television reported that the gunman was known to local police for quarrels with his neighbours and domestic violence.(dpa)
